Your day should reflect what is unique about you and your fiance', not just what's trending on Pinterest right now.
Your wedding photos should OOZE with your unique personality. No stiff, cookie cutter poses for everyone. Relax and have fun!
This might come as a shocker, but I believe having a first look should be up to you! I'll help you walk through the reasons why you should or shouldn't have one in your case, but again, this is your wedding and your decision. My job is just to help you decide what's best for YOU!
Your wedding day is going to amazing and beautiful, but your marriage is going to be even more amazing and beautiful! Don't stress the small stuff on your wedding day or when planning.
Your wedding day can be relaxed and enjoyable. We can work together to create a timeline that gives you the photos you dream of and also the time to enjoy your wedding day, your new spouse, and the friends and family that came to celebrate with you!
Karen is the BEST!!! She was so kind and so easy to work with. All of our other vendors loved working with her as well. She not only traveled to another state for our wedding but also to different places for two separate engagement sessions and had so many good ideas for photo locations. She listened to what we wanted and made our wedding photography better than I could have ever dreamed! Thanks for her, we will have these memories in photos forever. what you can expect from me
I am sure your mind is racing with all that needs to be planned. It’s all very exciting but can also be overwhelming. You are planning the day that you’ve been anticipating your whole life, and yet you only get one shot at it! By the time you get the hang of it, the planning is over! My goal as a wedding photographer is to make this one aspect of the planning process simple. Photography is more than just images, it’s a lasting part of your day. Not only do you deserve beautiful images, you also deserve an amazing photographic experience. When my couples feel comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera, that results in genuine, joyful images! Your wedding day is an experience from beginning to end, and your photography is a huge part of that experience..... shouldn’t it be fun? and enjoyable? and natural? I think so!
One way I ensure that my couples enjoy the BEST photographic experience possible is through forming a relationship with them. I try my best to make sure that all of my couples are the perfect fit before officially booking. All engaged couples should connect with their photographer, trust their photographer and be EXCITED about the whole process with them! After booking, I love getting to know my clients through an ENGAGEMENT SESSION that helps them warm up to the camera so that they are ready to rock and roll on the wedding day! By the time the wedding day arrives, my clients feel more like friends, and that creates a safe and relaxed environment for photography!

engagement sessions
Complimentary engagement sessions are a chance for you to have fun and get comfortable in front of my lens.
Engagement sessions are your chance to tell the world that you are getting married! Many of my couples have never had professional photos taken, and that's okay! I promise once we get those first awkward twenty minutes out of the way, you'll be feeling like models!
For your engagement session, we will discuss where you hang out, where you like to eat, what you like to do in your free time, etc. This will help me to find the perfect location for your session. Always dreamed of whisking away across the country to photos? Let's do it! Do you prefer hanging out at home or in your neighborhood trying all the local spots? We can do that! I'll even help you plan your wardrobe and give you tips on how to get your guy excited about the session. Just know that it's going to fun and you'll end up with some beautiful memories of life before the wedding.
What if I don't have a venue yet?
That's okay! You can still lock in your date with me and we will add in the venue when you figure that out.

Will I have access to the digital files?
Yes! All of my collections include the edited digital files in an online gallery that you can access at any time to share, print and download your photographs as often as you'd like. Hey, we'd want that, too!
And guess what?! We even allow you to share that gallery with your friends and family . . . but only if you want to!

Do you travel for weddings or engagement sessions?
Do I travel? Of course I do! I love traveling and photographing lovely couples in new places. I've photographed in 18 states and would love to go wherever you'll send me!
